The Panther has an environmentally friendly Euro 6 engine with 750 hp and accelerates from 0 to 80 km/h in just 29 seconds, with a top speed of 120 km/h. The red giant can carry 12,500 liters of water, 1,500 liters of foam, 250 kilograms of powder and 120 kilograms of carbon dioxide (CO2). Powerful pumps in the vehicle ensure that up to 6,000 liters of extinguishing agent per minute are discharged through the roof monitor. Its throwing range is about 100 meters. The new Panther 6x6 replaced its 17-year-old predecessor at Dortmund Airport. With the new addition, the airport fire department now has three Rosenbauer Panther airfield firefighting vehicles. The new Rosenbauer generation of the Panther 6x6 shows what has changed compared to its revolutionary predecessor.
