Prototype: AIXrail GmbH, Aachen class 272 (Vossloh G2000 BB) heavy diesel locomotive with a symmetrical cab. Deep black basic paint scheme with a special design by AIXrail GmbH. Road number 272 407-8. Operating condition as of March 2024.
Model: The locomotive has a digital decoder and extensive sound and light functions. Controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a centrally installed flywheel. All four axles powered by cardan shafts. Traction tires. Triple headlights that change over with the direction of travel and two red marker lights in conventional operation, can be controlled digitally. The headlights at locomotive ends 2 and 1 can each be turned off separately in digital operation. Double A light function. Each engineer's cab light can be controlled separately in digital operation. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. Many separately applied details. Metal railings on the long sides of the frame. Detailed buffer beam. Attachable brake hoses are included. Enclosed front covers can also be mounted on the buffer beam. Length over buffers 20 cm.
