Novelty 2021: The PIKO TT model of the class 119 was derived, like its prototype, from the clear, robust and functionally reliable design of the V 180 from PIKO. Since this was done with design consistency and high manufacturing quality, convinces with balanced running culture and considerable tractive effort. The locomotive is driven by an engine with two precisely balanced flywheel masses. The locomotive is driven on four axles. The shape and color design of the locomotive, which is called "submarine" because of its portholes, is not inferior to its precision mechanics. The locomotive has close coupling kinematics, white/red lighting that changes with the direction of travel and a PluX digital interface, a sound retrofit is prepared. Marked as DR Ep.IV with high peak light.
