Märklin 60226 Central Station CS3 Digital Multiprotocol Controller

As a multi-protocol control unit, the Central Station 3 with its high-resolution, modern color touch screen, the 2 speed controllers, and the integrated central track diagram control panel offers the possibility for simple and convenient control of the locomotives and the entire layout. For locomotives up to 32 functions can be switched, for accessories up to 320 Motorola or 2048 DCC solenoids are possible. Furthermore, the Central Station 3 has 2 built-in locomotive card readers (for storing locomotive data on a locomotive card or for quickly calling up the locomotive by inserting the locomotive card), an SD card slot for memory expansion as well as an integrated loudspeaker for playing sounds typical for model railways. A powerful booster is integrated to supply the system with traction and switching current. The Central Station 3 is multi-device capable, i.e. with the optional cable (60123) additional Central Station 3 plus (60216) with respective network connection can be operated together on one layout. Additional driving consoles, further layouts and keyboards extend the operation of the plant, whereby common and separate configurations for the plant areas to be controlled can be kept in the Central Station 3 (plus). The Central Station 3 has 2 built-in USB hosts (for e.g. mouse, keyboard, USB stick), a USB charging socket, a network connection for communication with a PC, connections for 2 Mobile Stations, a connection for external loudspeakers and others for the Märklin bus system. S88 connections can be implemented externally using Link s88 (60883). Load capacity at the connecting track: max. 5 A, load capacity at the programming track: max. 1.2 A. The Central Station 3 can only be used in conjunction with the switching power supply 60041 (for H0) (60101 for track 1 and L51095 for LGB) (not with transformers such as 60052). Using the switching power supply 60041 results in a maximum output power of 58 VA and a maximum current of 3 A (60216 with switching power supply 60101/L51095 results in a maximum current of 5 A, recommended exclusively for track 1/LGB.
