Märklin 42470 Pullman car set 'EDELWEISS' of the CIWL, AC, H0

Prototype: Six different Pullman cars in the design of the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits et des Grands Express Européens (CIWL) as the EDELWEISS PULLMAN EXPRESS. Two baggage cars type DD3, one Pullman car with kitchen VPC type "Côte d'Azur", one Pullman car without kitchen VP type "Côte d'Azur", one Pullman car with kitchen VPC type "Étoile du Nord" and one Pullman car without kitchen VP type "Étoile du Nord". Train route Amsterdam - The Hague - Rotterdam - Bruxelles Luxembourg - Strasbourg - Bâle - Lucerne- Zurich. Operating condition 1937.

Model: All of the cars have standard built-in LED interior lighting and standard built-in separable current-conducting close couplers. Parlor cars with lighted table lamps. One baggage car with train end lighting. A buffer capacitor is installed in each car to bridge short-term powerless spots. The interior lighting works in conjunction with the baggage car with tail lights. All of the cars come in different designs and have many separately applied, highly detailed details. Attached metal grab irons. The interiors of the salon cars are individually and multicolored. Buffer height according to NEM. Four replica main air lines are included for each car. Long and short bellows are included. Sliders for current pickup on one baggage car. Minimum radius of travel 360 mm. Length over the buffers of the baggage car approx. 23.9 cm. Length over the buffers for the saloon car approx. 26.9 cm. Total length over the buffers approx. 156.5 cm.
