The DRG version of the 99 731 has been in service on the Zittau narrow gauge line for a long time. In contrast to the other locomotives, this locomotive was restored to the condition of Era II by the SOEG staff and mainly runs in front of the Reichsbahn train. A highlight of the Zittauer Schmalspurbahn is the annual "Historik Mobil" event, on the occasion of which the 99 731 was also used in the light gray photo paint. It was the centerpiece of the event and many railroad enthusiasts will remember it for a long time. At the "Hobbymesse Leipzig" trade fair in September 2024, the locomotive was finally decorated by artist Michael Fischer-ART with one of his colorful motifs.

Model of the Zittauer Schmalspurbahn narrow-gauge steam locomotive 99 731. True to the original color scheme and lettering in photo paint, as the locomotive was used on the Historik Mobil. Additionally provided with the first 5 motifs that Michael Fischer-ART applied live in Leipzig on the left side of the prototype. The right-hand side is also decorated with new motifs by the artist. Powered by two powerful motors, traction tires. Equipped with an mfx/DCC decoder with many light and sound functions such as headlights that change over with the direction of travel, firebox lighting, cab lighting, running sounds, whistle and much more. Built-in smoke generator with wheel-synchronized steam output and cylinder steam. Many separately applied details, cab doors and smoke box door can be opened. Length over buffers 51 cm.

The running sounds also work in analog operation.
