"Glacier-Express" panorama car Bp 2536 2nd class of the RhB, DC, gauge H0

With specially designed bogies, the RhB tourist trains of the Glacier and Bernina Express can be used in 16.5mm gauge. This makes operation possible in both the DC and AC systems.

Prototype On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the "Glacier Express" St.Moritz-Chur-Brig-Zermatt, which has been running since 1930, RhB and MGB presented their new GEX 2006 train concept: Both railroads put two six-car panorama train sets each into service in the colors red/glacier blue with a white Swiss cross at the car crossings. The modern carriages offer greater travel comfort and feature, among other things, a new catering concept: The menu, freshly prepared in the panorama dining car, is served directly at the seat.
