This is a model of the German State Railroad steam locomotive 99 5902. This is a finely detailed model of heavy metal construction with many separately applied details. The locomotive is powered by two high performance motors, all driving wheel sets powered by coupling rods. The doors to the engineer's cab and the smoke box door can be opened. Finely detailed Mallet type running gear with many details such as complete linkage and drive for the lubrication pump. The paint scheme and lettering for Era IV are true to the original black and red, just as the locomotive was used by the DR at that time. All the differences compared to the version of the locomotive in today's version are reproduced, so the model - like the original - does not have an air pump as it was equipped with a vacuum pump. The different line routing on the boiler is also reproduced true to the original. Equipped with an mfx/DCC decoder with many light and sound functions such as headlights, cab lighting, driving sounds, whistle and bell that can be activated by reed switches, and much more. The running sounds also work in analog operation. Built-in smoke generator with wheel-synchronized steam output as well as cylinder steam and steam output at the whistle when it is activated.
