The locomotive 01 150 was delivered in 1935 with the factory number 22698 by the locomotive manufacturer Henschel & Sohn in Kassel. Initially, it earned its bread by working hard on the low mountain routes in Hesse and Thuringia - from Bebra. She remained loyal to her Hessian home for thirty years. Darmstadt, Hanau, Frankfurt/M, Wiesbaden and Giessen were her stations and the main lines along the Rhine and Lahn, over the Spessart hills and the Wetterau were her territory. She was decommissioned in November 1973 in Hof.
