It is a must for every Trix railroader who is dedicated to Era III. The class 86 on the German Federal Railroad was an important girl for everything. Now the 86 is being reissued - as a finely detailed model with high-tech equipment. Whether in front of a short express train, in front of long passenger trains, in front of local train sets or in freight traffic: the 86 brings variety to the model railroad. And stories can be told from the heyday of the railroad, when goods were still transported by rail to the furthest corners of the country. With the new four-car branch line freight train, the matching cars are also rolling into the Trix program.

Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 86.0-8 tank steam locomotive. Black basic paint scheme with red running gear. Version with 4 boiler superstructures. Welded water boxes with long cutouts over the cylinders and rounded edges. Triple headlights with DB reflective glass lamps. Bell mechanism, turbo dynamo on the left, smoke box door without central lock with license plate in the middle, without Indusi, coal box with straight top board. Road number 86 507, home of BD Wuppertal, Dieringhausen depot. Operating condition around 1964.

Model: The locomotive has a digital decoder and extensive light and sound functions. The locomotive has controlled high-efficiency propulsion with a flywheel in the boiler. 4 axles powered. Traction tires. The locomotive is constructed mostly of metal. The locomotive is equipped for the 72270 smoke unit. The triple headlights and smoke unit contact change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. Two red marker lights can be turned on separately in digital operation. The cab lighting can also be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. Numerous attached metal grab irons and lines. Minimum passable radius 360 mm. Piston rod protection tubes, brake hoses, heating cables and imitation screw couplers are included separately. Length over buffers 16.0 cm.
