Prototype: Four Swiss Federal Railways (SBB/CFF/FFS) type EWIII standard passenger cars. One type AD, 1st class, half-luggage car, one type WR dining car, and two type B, 2nd class, large-capacity cars. Pebble gray/blood orange basic paint scheme for the Swiss Express. Train route: Geneva-Lausanne-Berne-Zurich Main Station. Car road numbers 1, 13, and 14. Dining car without a road number. Operating condition as of 1975.

Model: This is a completely new design of the EWIII family of cars. Multi-colored interiors. All of the cars have factory-installed LED interior lighting. A buffer capacitor is installed in each car to bridge short-term power outages. Dining car with illuminated table lamps. A large-capacity carriage has standard built-in end-of-train lighting. Equipped with disconnectable, current-carrying close couplers. The interior lighting works in conjunction with the rear light car; the specified vehicle sequence must be observed. Type-specific bogies, roof shapes, side walls and underbodies with many separately applied details. Buffer height according to NEM. Separately applied fans, grab irons, control lines and steps on the bogies. The cars have imprinted car nameplates and serial numbers. Each car comes with two plug-in transfer end doors that were installed on the prototype for transfers. An imitation of an automatic coupler is also included with the rear light car. All of the cars are individually packaged in additional outer packaging. Minimum passable radius 360 mm. Length over buffers approx. 113.2 cm.
