Role model The opening of the Vereina Tunnel in winter 1999 brought about a fundamental restructuring of regional transport between the Prättigau and the Engadin as part of the "New Railway Transport Offer" NEVA Retica. For the Scuol - Vereina - Landquart and Scuol - Samedan - Pontresina connections, the low-floor control cars BDt 1751-1758 were procured and various EW I were modernized to form new commuter trains. The NEVA control cars currently run on the Scuol - Pontresina regional service with Ge 4/4 II and on the Landquart - Davos - Filisur line with Ge 4/4 II and Ge 4/4 III respectively.

With the BDt 1755, BEMO offers a vehicle in the classic red livery with the train destination sign "Filisur".
