Prussian compartment cars - the prototype: While the passenger cars were exclusively two-axle cars, three-axle cars were also built from about 1880 onward, which were distinguished by their smoother running, among other things. After the nationalization of the railroads in Prussia, the so-called Normalien, rules for the construction of rail vehicles, were created, which also affected passenger cars. The three-axle compartment cars were built according to these standards and were mainly intended for use in passenger trains. In the first models, wood was still the predominant material, but at the beginning of the 20th century, steel construction was introduced. At the same time, petroleum lighting was gradually replaced by gas lights.

Prussian compartment cars - the models: The Prussians are produced in different versions: Two 1st and two 2nd class cars (B3 and C3) each with different car numbers as well as with and without brakeman's cab and the matching Pw3 Pr 11 baggage car. All models in DB and DR versions and for the friends of Era 2 also as DRG version. In addition to the Lenz-typical standard equipment, the cars impress with their excellent detailing and perfect printing.
