With our new current-carrying close coupling, you can reliably transfer current from one wagon to the other without having to install separate current sliders or even center sliders in each wagon. In this way, you avoid unnecessary frictional resistance. The coupling is designed with two poles, so that the current for the interior lighting or rear lights of your wagons can be transferred without any problems. But also a loudspeaker can be installed with our coupler, for example in a ghost car and fed from the LokSound decoder located in the locomotive. The spring contacts can be loaded with up to 1A. The mechanical (short) coupling is made by a conventional bracket and provides a reliable connection between the wagons. The coupler can be plugged into any NEM 362 standard coupler shaft. The two super-flexible connection strands that are already mounted ensure optimum mobility of the bogies and coupling kinematics.
