The world record attempt of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) has succeeded! On Saturday afternoon, October 29, 2022, the world's longest narrow-gauge passenger train ran on the 24.93 km long UNESCO World Heritage route from the Albula Tunnel in Preda at 1788.7 m above sea level to the Landwasser Viaduct shortly after Filisur over an altitude difference of about 790 m. The 1906 m and around 2990 t long record train - made up of 25 four-car "Capricorn" trains manufactured by Stadler Rail - successfully reached its destination at a speed of between 30 and 35 km/h over 48 bridges and through 22 tunnels with the crossing over the Landwasser Viaduct. The success of the world record was confirmed on site by GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ of¤ ziell. The entry reads: "longest narrow gauge passenger train". After the event, which was attended by several thousand guests and rail fans along the route, the address of locomotive Ge 4/4 III 644 advertising the event was changed: world record attempt became world record ride.

Due to the continuing demand for the locomotive model, BEMO will also offer an adapted locomotive model with regard to addresses.
