Viessmann 5229 Multiplexer for light signals with multiplex technology

This module is equipped with an integrated digital decoder. The decoder understands the formats Märklin-Motorola and NMRA-DCC. The module is suitable for one main signal and one distant signal with Viessmann multiplex technology, e.g. Ks signals art. 4040 - 4046 and the standard light signals with multiplex technology art. 4720 - 4730. It has the Viessmann SignalBus and the Viessmann SpeedBus and can be controlled via the key control panels art. 5545 - 5547, via track contacts and by digital switching commands. The Viessmann SpeedBus allows a comfortable connection to the Commander with automatic login. The module is equipped and configurable to the same extent as the control module for light signals without multiplex technology Art. 5224. It is block track capable and with the pluggable train control relay Art. 5228 it can stop the trains automatically. This can be done either by switching off the traction current before the signal or, even more prototypically for digital systems, by switching to the Art. 5232 brake module (for Märklin Motorola) or a brake generator/ABC braking (for NMRA DCC). The signal connection is made via a single plug connection. Prototypical smooth signal aspect change.
