The LokPilot 5 micro DCC is the "twin" of the LokPilot 5 micro. With only 8.0mm x 7.0mm and a thickness of only 2.4mm (at the capacitor: 2.9mm) just small enough to fit into very small locomotives of nominal sizes Z, N or TT, it is a pure DCC decoder. However, this renunciation of flexibility is rewarded with a lower price.

LokPilot 5 micro DCC decoders are offered with all common interfaces. The variants with Next18 or PluX16 interface are somewhat larger with a footprint of 13.0mm x 9.2mm, but have 2 additional function outputs.

Operating modes The LokPilot 5 micro DCC is a "purebred" DCC decoder. 14 to 128 speed steps are as natural as 2 and 4 digit addresses. Up to 32 functions can be triggered. Thanks to RailComPlus®, the decoders log on to a suitable digital command station fully automatically.

It handles all DCC programming modes and thanks to RailCom®, the CV values on the main track can be read out with suitable command stations. For command stations that can only program the CVs from 1-255 there are auxiliary registers.

The LokPilot 5 micro DCC decoder recognizes Märklin® braking tracks as well as ZIMO® HLU / ZACK commands or the Lenz® ABC system. Braking with DCC brake modules or with DC voltage is also possible. In addition, it also stops with a Selectrix® brake diode. An ABC shuttle train automatic allows automatic shuttling between two stations.

The LokPilot 5 DCC decoder can be used on analog DC railroads. The maximum speed can be set separately here.

The decoder switches between the operating modes fully automatically "on-the-fly". Mostly nothing has to be set.

Functions We know that you want your locomotives to be as realistic as possible. That's why we've equipped the LokPilot 5 micro DCC with an amazing number of function outputs. The versions with 6-pin or 8-pin harness offer 4 amplified function outputs with 180mA output current each as well as two logic level outputs for servos or Susi. The versions with Next18 or PluX16 interface provide a total of 6 amplified outputs and two logic level outputs. All important light functions are available. The brightness of each output can be adjusted separately. The decoder masters automatic pressing on and off during uncoupling for ROCO®, Krois® and Telex® couplers.

Motor control The motor control of the LokPilot 5 micro DCC has again been fundamentally improved. A variably adjustable PWM clock frequency from 10kHz to 50kHz ensures super quiet operation, especially with bell armature motors - the typical "hum" is a thing of the past. The load control can now be adapted to difficult cases with up to 10 CVs. The unique "Autotune" function allows automatic tuning of the decoder to the motor. With up to 0.75A motor current, the LokPilot 5 micro DCC decoder provides enough juice for the intended application scenarios.

Operational safety If desired, a PowerPack can be connected to the LokPilot 5 micro for bridging dirty track sections.

Protection Of course, the motor output and the function outputs are protected against overload. We want you to enjoy your decoder for as long as possible.
